There are many decisions made at Secondary school that can impact on your future. Mc Cullagh Careers will guide you in making clear and informative choices in relation to subject choice at senior cycle or career planning after Leaving Certificate. This will ensure you make the right choices that will help you maximise your potential.

  • Gain an understanding of the subjects that best suit your interests, strengths, and career choice.

  • Identify and investigate career choices and plan best options going forward.

  • To complete your CAO/UCAS or other career applications in the most effective way.

 

Services Available

1. Full Career Guidance Assessment:

  • Marie meets the client over two sessions, 3 hours in total.

  • Psychometric tests will be issued to client and completed online.

  • The first session is discussion and information gathering. 

  • The second session will be feedback on test results and written report. 

  • A free one year follow up service is also included.

2. Informational Sessions:

Marie meets with the client for one hour to discuss topics of interest, such as:

  • CAO application

  • UCAS application/ personal statement

  • Information on other options after leaving school

  • Apprenticeships

  • Grants and Scholarships

  • HEAR/ DARE applications

  • Study Skills

  • PLC information
